This individual will be supporting the internal user base of over 700 end users as well as some external clients of the company.
This will give an individual an opportunity to work with traditional corporate technologies as well as proprietary tools that are specific to this company's industry.
This role is a 3 to 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity.
The hours for this role are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities Serve as the end-user (customer) facing component of the IT department.
Respond to ticket queries for end-users (customers) seeking assistance.
Ask questions to determine the nature of an issue and walk end-users (customers) through problem-solving activities.
Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software and hardware.
Run network cables within the facility on an as-needed basis Assists staff with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines.
Gain feedback and follow-up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved.
Use and manage a ticketing system.
Qualifications 1 to 2 years' experience with customers in a technical support capacity over the phone and in-person Ability to demonstrate solid working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Windows, O365, and basic networking principles A
and Microsoft certifications are preferred Must have the ability to lift approximately 50 lbs Must have the ability to climb ladders for running networking cables Job Type:
